Under 9 is a fairly regular pace for me for runs of 6 to 8 miles. Right before my regular 13.1 run, I got the idea to see if I could sustain the pace (< 9) past 8 miles. To my surprise, I held it for 13 and still had a little left in me. Whenever I started feeling a little sign of fatigue, I sped up. It worked well for me.

Under 9 per mile is pretty great; is that a regular pace for you?

When I feel fatigue, I call myself names and then quit. Maybe I'll give your technique a try.
You are getting quite studly, my friend . . . very impressive!
Ah shucks. :)
Practice, practice, practice.
wow! good job. I've only be pushing about four to five miles one day a week. :(
One day a week? What the heck? You get your bottom out there and I don't want to hear any excuses, missy. ;>)
